Systems Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Manager (Remote in US).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee system operations and manage application environments for a large-scale Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) program
• Act as the primary contact for contract compliance and project execution with external vendors
• Ensure system performance aligns with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in systems management or IT operations, preferably in public sector or Medicaid environments
• Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise systems, ideally MMIS or similar healthcare platforms
• Proven experience with ITIL practices and a strong understanding of service management frameworks; ITIL v4 Certification or equivalent preferred
• Strong understanding of system observability and proactive monitoring tools
