VoIP Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VoIP Network Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SIP-based voice network infrastructure and make recommendations to leadership
• Manage vendor relationships and provide hardware and software design recommendations for VOIP elements
• Conduct Tier 4 troubleshooting of SIP-based network elements and services

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
• Five years of experience in telecommunications related to VOIP engineering
• Expert understanding of SIP, RTP, RTCP, and DTMF interworking
• Experience with vendor management and technical management of advanced VOIP solutions
• Familiarity with troubleshooting platforms and tools such as Empirix and Wireshark
