A company is looking for a Construction Scheduler to manage and oversee transportation projects for the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using scheduling software
- Collaborate with project management teams and stakeholders to create project timelines
- Monitor project progress, report on status, and propose corrective actions to ensure timely delivery
Required Qualifications
- 10-12 years of project scheduling and construction management experience in the transportation sector
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Experience with horizontal projects like sidewalks, streetscapes, and roadway projects
- Local construction industry knowledge is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is preferred but not required
