A company is looking for an Assistant Director - Out-of-State Medicaid Eligibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the VP of Operations in leading a team of eligibility screeners across multiple sites
- Oversee OOS Medicaid eligibility processes, ensuring compliance with state regulations
- Develop and maintain standardized protocols and workflows for accurate screenings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Public Policy, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in eligibility screening, financial counseling, or patient access
- 1-2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare or public assistance environment
- Deep understanding of Out-of-State Medicaid programs and eligibility requirements
- Experience with hospital systems and eligibility portals
