Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and journal entries during month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts related to agency bill and direct bill for accuracy
- Perform independent analysis of financial data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- CPA or CMA certification (preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry
- Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
