A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Inland Marine Insurance) to support their Underwriters and customers remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain electronic policy files and ensure proper documentation and organization
- Issue policies and process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements within specified timeframes
- Provide customer service by responding to requests for status updates and information
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of P&C insurance industry experience
- Basic to intermediate skills with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize workload with minimal supervision
- Ability to make sound business decisions within level of authority
