A company is looking for a Pharmacy Benefits Specialist (Remote in WI).
Key Responsibilities
- Administer daily operations of pharmacy benefits
- Collaborate with pharmacy and operations management to ensure accurate benefit administration
- Monitor and analyze pharmacy benefit performance and communicate issues as needed
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Five years of experience as a pharmacy technician with knowledge of electronic claims processing
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required or must attain within 6 months of hire
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in business administration
- Preferred: One year experience in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or insurance industry
