Roadway Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Roadway Design Engineer for a remote contract-to-hire position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide roadway and site design, including conceptual layouts, roadway geometrics, drainage, and right of way plans
• Plan construction stages, manage erosion and sedimentation control, and prepare final construction plans
• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide technical support and perform various design tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in InRoads and OpenRoads; experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus
• Previous experience designing projects for the Department of Transportation (DOT)
• E.I.T certification with a desire to obtain P.E. is preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in roadway design
