Rust API Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Rust API Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enhance RESTful, WebSocket, and MQTT based APIs using Rust
• Integrate with 3rd party services and devices using Rust
• Test and validate API changes and integrations by flying drones

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Rust
• 5+ years of experience building customer/partner facing APIs
• Experience with Async Rust, Tokio, Axum, Tungstenite, and WebSockets
• Familiarity with mTLS, API Keys, or other connection authentication methods
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
