SBA Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an SBA Underwriter responsible for underwriting and closing support for Small Business Administration loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility and prepare financial documentation for Small Business Administration loan requests
• Coordinate and prepare documentation for Small Business Administration applications and communicate with loan applicants
• Assist in the operation of the Small Business Administration Department and provide exemplary customer service

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of working knowledge of commercial bank products and commercial credit analysis
• 5 or more years of experience with MS Office
• 5 or more years of experience with Small Business Administration loans and loan structuring (preferred)
