Job Summary

A company is looking for a Science Writer/Editor for Grades 2-12.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging articles that support reading comprehension and background knowledge in science for students in grades 2-12
• Collaborate with team members to align content with educational standards and development goals
• Edit and review content for scientific accuracy, clarity, and engagement while meeting editorial standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific discipline, science education, journalism, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in educational publishing, science writing, or developmental editing
• Experience in curriculum development or instructional design
• Strong knowledge of science across grade levels and domains
• Familiarity with NGSS, Common Core, or other national/state standards
