Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to implement and troubleshoot security tools to enhance and support its security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, deployment, and configuration of security tools to meet organizational needs
• Diagnose and resolve issues with security tools in real-time for optimal performance
• Research, test, and recommend new security technologies based on the threat landscape

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on security engineering and tool deployment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CEH, or vendor-specific certifications
• Strong hands-on experience with various security tools and deep troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and understanding of network protocols and security frameworks
