Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Engineer, CloudFlare.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detection rules across cloud-native and enterprise security platforms
• Automate detection and response workflows across security tools to enhance efficiency
• Lead incident response efforts for web application threats and optimize WAF configurations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• B.S. in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ years in a hands-on technical role in information security
• Experience managing Cloudflare WAF or similar web application firewalls
• Familiarity with security tools including EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, and SIEM/XDR
• At least one active security certification preferred (e.g., GCIH, GCIA, CISSP, CEH)
