Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage financial transactions and support the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares and posts journal entries and analyzes balance sheet accounts
• Maintains accounting schedules and collaborates with team members
• Provides training and oversight to staff accountants and participates in financial analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's preferred
• 2-3 years of public accounting or industry experience required
• Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to apply it
• Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
• CPA certification preferred
