Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable building, scaling, shipping, and monitoring of the platform using various technologies
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and complete feature work
• Mentor other engineers and improve processes, systems, and tools for delivering quality products

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing and supporting software in a production environment
• 3+ years of experience programming in object-oriented languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• 3+ years of experience developing and supporting scalable, distributed backend services (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (preferred)
