Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate a business analyst team's activities on IT projects and mentor newer team members
  • Facilitate client meetings to gather and document requirements and create test scenarios for business applications
  • Analyze, plan, and document recommendations to improve business processes in support of client technology goals
Required Qualifications
  • 6 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position, particularly in Health Care/Health Insurance
  • Strong background in Medicaid and claim processing using Institutional and Physician claim forms
  • Familiarity with Prior Authorization, Member, Provider, Long-Term Care, Inpatient/Outpatient concepts
  • Experience with project and change management tools such as ALM, iTrace/rTrace
  • Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) updates
