Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (LATAM).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee data engineering projects, bridging technical gaps and ensuring effective decision-making
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration by translating technical concepts for non-technical colleagues
• Ensure successful delivery of complex engineering projects while mentoring team members

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role focused on data pipeline design and development
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with Scala and Rust is a plus
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes
• Intermediate/expert proficiency with data integration/orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow
• Experience with at least one cloud data warehouse and cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
