Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to enhance internal capabilities in managing and leveraging client data.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee data engineering projects, bridging technical gaps and navigating complex conditions
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration by translating technical concepts for non-technical colleagues
• Ensure the delivery of complex engineering projects aligns with business outcomes, mentoring team members as needed

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role, focusing on data pipeline design and development
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with Scala and Rust is a plus
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes
• Intermediate/expert proficiency with data integration/orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory
• Experience with at least one cloud data warehouse and one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
