Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing real-time streaming pipelines using Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Streams
• Leading architecture and design decisions for the event-driven data platform
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering best practices in stream processing

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong track record of leadership
• Proven expertise with Apache Kafka and hands-on experience with Flink or similar systems
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python
• In-depth understanding of distributed systems and streaming semantics
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus
