Senior GCP Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior GCP Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy data pipelines, integrations, and transformations for analytics and machine learning applications
• Partner with product owners and analytics teams to identify and retrieve data, conduct exploratory analysis, and build analytical models
• Implement data pipelines using best practices for ETL/ELT, data management, and data governance while mentoring junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent 5+ years of experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience programming in SQL
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines using batch and/or streaming processes
• GCP certification and hands-on experience with GCP tech stack including Terraform, Dataflow, Big Query, and others
• Experience in data modeling and process improvement solutions that automate manual processes
