Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to manage large-scale data platforms and support data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale data platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business goals
• Support Redshift and PostgreSQL databases, overseeing their lifecycle from new builds to upgrades and retirements
• Collaborate with development teams to engineer flagship products and manage HA architectures and disaster recovery processes

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in an AWS cloud environment in a similar role
• Strong experience with complex Redshift deployments and hands-on IaC experience, specifically Terraform
• Deep proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practices, particularly Git and Bitbucket
• Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science, or a related discipline preferred
