Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead and support advanced data analytics initiatives for a financial regulatory agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of predictive fraud models and filters
• Perform advanced statistical and data mining analysis on taxpayer and fraud datasets
• Evaluate results of fraud models and recommend enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 7 years of analytical experience, preferably with experience in fraud detection
• Expertise in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau
• Must be a US citizen
• Must have active or ability to obtain IRS MBI clearance
