Senior Design Drafting Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Advanced Design Drafting Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of drafters in detailed design and documentation of mechanical components using CAD software
• Determine scale, reference planes, and prepare specifications for parts and assemblies
• Prepare production detail drawings and suggest design modifications to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Design Drafting Technician
• Experience with CAD tools such as Pro-E/Creo or Solid Works
• Knowledge of material requirements and fabrication techniques
• Understanding of mechanical stress and tolerance analysis
