Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior DevOps System Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for secure delivery of VA applications
• Engineer cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and security compliance
• Conduct security assessments and collaborate with teams to integrate security practices into Agile development cycles

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity, particularly in federal environments
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Familiarity with VA security standards and the VIP Lean-Agile framework
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
