Senior Director of MLOps Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director - MLOps Engineering to lead the design and development of scalable MLOps platforms for modeled data product builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to define requirements for ML platform design and modernization
• Lead junior engineers in the design and development of a modernized MLOps platform
• Establish governance frameworks and decision criteria for AI/ML projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of ML platform engineering experience, with 12+ years focused on ML platform architecture and cloud modernization
• Proven track record of designing and delivering hyperscale ML platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• 10+ years of experience optimizing Spark-based ML inference workloads
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing MLOps pipelines using programming languages such as C/C++ or Java
