Senior Engineer, Transmission

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Engineer, Transmission and Interconnection.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects through the interconnection process from inception to Commercial Operation
• Perform power flow, stability, and short circuit studies using relevant software for project prospecting
• Negotiate interconnection study results and agreements with utilities to achieve favorable outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in interconnection, project development, or transmission planning
• Deep understanding of CAISO & WECC utilities tariffs and interconnection processes
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in developing relationships with utilities, consulting firms, and regulators
• Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electric Power Systems Engineering or MBA
