Senior Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers while contributing to technical strategy and systems architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the full software development lifecycle for high-impact features and translate complex requirements into actionable plans
• Own backend architecture decisions and partner with teams to evolve the platform for AI model training and operational intelligence
• Provide technical mentorship, refine team rituals, and communicate project status to ensure clarity and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including backend and full-stack systems
• 5+ years in engineering management roles, preferably in high-growth SaaS or data-rich environments
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Next.js, AWS, or comparable stacks
• Strong architectural instincts and a deep understanding of system design and CI/CD practices
• Strategic orientation with the ability to identify opportunities for risk reduction and enhanced system clarity
