Web Platform Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Web Platform Director to lead the development of its core web platform for private browsers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team in building and evolving the core web platform for multiple operating systems
• Define architecture to enable product teams to deliver innovative features while minimizing fragmentation
• Influence user experience by ensuring browsers are fast, stable, and private by design

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading teams on large, complex consumer-facing products
• 4+ years in senior leadership roles with experience in people management and mentoring
• Direct experience with browser development (Chromium, WebKit, or WebView)
• Experience with modern C++14 or more recent C++ codebases
• Familiarity with other modern programming languages such as C#, Swift, Kotlin, or Rust
