North Carolina Licensed Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer III responsible for planning, project management, and advanced production support for systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads technical support and service for software installation, testing, and complex problem resolution
• Coordinates system testing to ensure functionality, performance, and resource availability
• Implements continuous improvements in systems and processes through automation and technical enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Systems Programming, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
• Preferred experience with Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, AIX, and Mainframe systems
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, or DevSecOps are preferred
• Exposure to server virtualization and configuration management tools
• Understanding of data flow, network interfaces, and relational database management systems
