Senior Privacy Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Privacy Engineering to lead privacy-preserving systems and practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the privacy engineering strategy, ensuring user trust and global compliance
• Collaborate with legal and compliance partners to translate regulatory obligations into technical requirements
• Drive the implementation of privacy controls and embed privacy reviews into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in privacy engineering, security engineering, or a related technical field, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of privacy-by-design principles and regulatory frameworks like GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• Experience with data minimization, differential privacy, and secure data architecture
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with product, legal, compliance, and security teams
• Familiarity with privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and modern engineering patterns
