Senior Hadoop Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Hadoop Admin to support their Big Data Federal Team on the 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, maintain, and support Big Data infrastructure and applications on ServiceNow Cloud and Azure environments
• Automate CI/CD data pipelines and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
• Provide production support for critical Big Data pipelines, collaborating with various teams to resolve issues

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the Hadoop/Big Data ecosystem with 6+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of querying and analyzing large-scale data using tools like Spark and Grafana
• Proficient in scripting with Bash and Python for automation tasks
• Strong Linux Systems Administration skills
