Senior PowerBuilder Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. PowerBuilder Developer -Remote -Only NC local.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance custom client-server PowerBuilder applications and various Java, C+, and ASP.NET/C# interfaces
• Diagnose and resolve Java upgrade issues in a Red Hat Linux server environment to ensure compatibility with existing interfaces
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, and testing

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a PowerBuilder developer using PB10 or more recent versions
• Development experience in Java, particularly with library and compatibility issues
• Strong SQL skills applicable to any database platform
• Experience working in a remote software development environment
• Ability to work with a custom base-class and experience with business process transformation
