Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Security Engineer to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) team on a 6-month contract remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security anomalies using SIEM and related tools
• Investigate incidents and perform vulnerability assessments
• Develop scripts and workflows for automating incident response

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity, SOC, or related roles
• Strong foundation in IT and security concepts, tools, and practices
• AWS experience required; familiarity with Azure or GCP is a plus
• Proficient with Linux systems and securing them
• Proven scripting experience in Python for security use cases
