Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement the Kafka ecosystem using various streaming technologies
• Build the DevOps strategy for managing microservice and connector infrastructure in AWS cloud
• Participate in Agile development projects for enterprise-level systems component design and implementation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer using Java or Scala
• Experience with Kafka Streams and containerized microservices architecture
• Experience monitoring Kafka cluster health and strategies for broker failure detection and recovery
• AWS cloud experience, including S3, EFS, MSK, ECS, and EMR
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
