Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform Engineering group.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical design, development, testing, and code reviews of enterprise-scale geospatial services
• Participate in team technical activities including sprint planning, effort estimation, and architectural reviews
• Evaluate and recommend next-generation cloud-native data delivery technologies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in building enterprise-scale data distribution capabilities
• Extensive experience with modern technologies and cloud tools (Kubernetes, Postgres, S3, SQS, etc.)
• Expertise in modern development languages (Go and/or C# preferred)
• Experience with large geospatial raster and vector datasets
• Familiarity with cloud-based SQL databases, including performance tuning and query optimization
