Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team focused on building large-scale distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements and drives design document development
• Creates and optimizes code to improve performance, maintainability, and return on investment
• Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor and restore system performance during issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C or C++
• 1+ year of experience with streaming solutions like Apache Kafka
• 2+ years of experience with system design
• Ability to meet security screening requirements upon hire and every two years thereafter
