Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Staff Software Engineer to join their Core Platform team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for back end systems and APIs related to data ingestion, processing, and routing
• Contribute to architecture discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate feature specifications into code
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust code while mentoring junior engineers and creating comprehensive test plans

Required Qualifications

• Experience building products that utilize large scale data sets (Node.js/Typescript/React)
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Experience with developing and using REST APIs
• Familiarity with Agile processes and rapid iterative development
• Experience developing services for cloud-based platforms
