Senior Systems Database Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Systems Database Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain multiple DBMS environments
• Proactively monitor all databases and manage incident, capacity, and performance
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery tasks

Required Qualifications

• 4-year Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5 years' experience as a Systems DBA with two of the following: MS SQL, Oracle, or UDB
• Significant hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or UDB databases
• Experience with logical and physical database design
• In-depth knowledge of clustering, mirroring, and log shipping across Open System DBMS
