Job Summary
A company is looking for a Desktop Engineer I to support technical operations and ensure smooth functioning of desktop systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in the design and maintenance of the Windows/Mac Desktop environment
- Mentor and train team members and technicians, while overseeing desktop workflows for quality and efficiency
- Create and maintain endpoint images, automated deployments, and documentation for processes and solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of IT support experience, or equivalent experience with a High School Diploma/GED/Associates Degree and 12+ years
- Experience with IT Service Management processes and ITIL practices
- Knowledge of JAMF, SCCM, Active Directory, Office 365, and other relevant technologies
- Experience in a Desktop Engineering role within a Service Desk and familiarity with cloud services like Azure and AWS
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and its impact on IT systems
