Tier 2 SOC Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tier 2 SOC Analyst to support cybersecurity efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive incident analysis and correlate data from various sources
• Respond to Cyber Security Incidents and provide threat analysis and reporting
• Monitor security threats, evaluate incidents, and conduct proactive threat research

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred, or 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in identifying cybersecurity problems and recommending detection mechanisms
• Proficient in analyzing network traffic and providing subject matter expertise on network-based attacks
• Ability to manage email security and configure security tools such as Splunk and FirePower
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and meet U.S. residency requirements
