Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of the U.S. Air Force's Expeditionary Meteorology System (EXMET).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering lifecycle activities for the EXMET family of Systems, including requirements analysis, design, testing, and implementation
• Develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with staffing and funding plans
• Coordinate EXMET FoS life cycle management, including integration, deployment, and sustainment of AI/ML features

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering within defense, aerospace, or meteorological domains
• Proven expertise in C4ISR systems, tactical sensor platforms, or expeditionary technologies
• Active Secret or higher-level US Government security clearance
• Experience with field-deployable systems and ruggedized hardware integration
