Crash Simulation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crash Simulation Engineer to join a government consulting team in a remote, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, coordinate, and control project work to meet client objectives
• Create sled FE models, position crash test dummies, and perform vehicle impact analysis
• Conduct post-simulation data analysis and develop technical reports and presentations

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in vehicle crash simulations
• Expertise in engineering dynamics, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, biomechanical engineering, or structural engineering
• Experience evaluating laboratory test results from impact testing
• Familiarity with Design of Experiments, optimization, and statistical analysis
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
