We’re looking for an SEO Manager to help our clients increase visibility, drive qualified leads, and improve search performance through expert-level SEO execution.
Role Overview
As an SEO Manager at Kind Creative, you’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies for healthcare clients, ensuring they achieve maximum visibility and sustainable growth. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on execution, along with strong client and project management skills.
You’ll be perfect for this role if you have:
• 3+ years of experience actively managing SEO campaigns and accounts for local B2C lead generation clients (more specifically, in the behavioral health industry)
• A well-rounded SEO background with experience in on-page optimization, off-page authority building, local visibility, and technical optimization
• Strong project and time management skills to ensure key deliverables are completed on time
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deconstruct complex SEO topics in a way that executives and key stakeholders will understand
Responsibilities
Operational Management & Client Success
• Serve as the primary SEO strategist and account manager for assigned clients, creating agendas, handling calls, emails, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients by proactively identifying opportunities for growth and problem-solving challenges in their SEO strategy.
• Delegate tasks, track progress, and ensure projects are completed on time.
On-Page & Off-Page Optimization
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keyword opportunities and map them out in a larger content optimization plan.
• Optimize key on-page elements, including metadata, headings, content, and implement content strategies that align with business objectives and search intent.
• Collaborate with content teams to develop SEO-driven content strategies that improve organic visibility, drive qualified traffic, and ultimately lead to and conversions.
• Provide guidance on optimizing existing and new content to maximize search visibility.
• Audit and optimize Google Business Profiles to maximize local search visibility.
• Improve user experience (UX) and engagement metrics through SEO best practices.
Technical SEO Excellence
• Conduct in-depth site audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
• Ensure websites follow best practices for site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and page speed.
• Implement structured data, canonical tags, hreflang tags, redirects, and other technical SEO elements.
• Work closely with developers to recommend, guide, and implement site improvements for page speed, Core Web Vitals, indexation issues.
Performance Tracking & KPI Accountability
• Develop and maintain automated reporting systems to track key SEO KPIs, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rate, conversions, and more.
• Implement systems for tracking SEO performance, including automated alerts and regular performance reviews.
• Present insights and recommendations to clients based on performance data.
Competitive & Market Analysis
• Conduct competitive analysis to monitor trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to outperform competitors in organic search.
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
• 3+ years of experience in SEO strategy, technical SEO, and content optimization.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and more.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS and how they impact SEO (no coding required, but familiarity is a plus).
• Experience with GA4 and data visualization tools for performance reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Healthcare marketing experience is a plus, but not required.
• Javascript experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
