The Functional ERP+ / SAP S/4 HANA Subject Matter Expert supports end-to-end business process transformation and configuration for ERP+ across multiple domains, including Budget-to-Report (B2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C). The SME ensures fit-to-standard implementation by guiding functional design, validating data requirements, and supporting workshop facilitation. This role works closely with IPTs and the government team to ensure ERP+ meets operational needs without over-customization. Serves as a leader in Financial Improvement Coordination, ensuring that groups of professionals are working successfully within the context of complex business environments. Develops business cases, requirements, studies and scope solutions. Identifies gaps and shortcomings in solutions and determines ways forward and/or workarounds to the solutions proposed. Leads process modeling and translates requirements into design. Leads the formulation and implementation of strategic plans. Coordinates with the client at the SES level and above.

• In-Depth understanding of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA
• Experience leading functional design workshops
• Strong grasp of federal financial and logistics processes
• Ability to perform fit-gap analysis and recommend alternatives
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
• 9 years of related experience.

• Bachelor's Degree

• Experience with Navy ERP or equivalent DoD ERP modernization efforts
• SAP certification in S/4 HANA (Finance or Logistics)
• Familiarity with Defense Business Systems (DBS) audit requirements
• Understanding of configuration control and clean core principles
