Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer 2 to contribute to the development of the Azure Compute service.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Managers and teams to expand the Azure Compute Platform service
• Contribute to the design and documentation of features, services, and platform components
• Investigate and resolve complex issues in large-scale distributed systems to improve service reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in relevant languages
• 1+ years experience with distributed systems and backend development
• Ability to meet security screening requirements for the role
• Equivalent experience may be considered
• Preferred qualifications include additional years of experience or advanced degrees in relevant fields
