Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering (AWS/Infrastructure/Platform Services).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
• Own backlog prioritization, capacity planning, and delivery of planned and unplanned work
• Oversee AWS infrastructure design, development, and operations using automation and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience managing engineering teams in a cloud-first environment
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Puppet)
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and migration from EC2 to containerized workloads
