Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a software engineering team in the design, development, and maintenance of business application software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor software engineers and SDETs for efficient software design, development, and deployment
• Collaborate with other leaders to improve software development processes and product quality
• Establish and implement software development standards and best practices for high-quality software delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline required (or equivalent work experience)
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or SDET
• 2+ years of experience managing software engineers, including coaching and performance measurement
• Strong technical background in software engineering and development, including knowledge of software development life cycle best practices
• Experience with Agile software development methodology and familiarity with AI/ML technologies is a plus
