Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated and manual test plans to validate application functionality, data integrity, and performance
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and quality goals are met
• Detect, document, and track defects, driving resolution with engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience with software testing and knowledge of QA principles and modern testing frameworks
• Hands-on experience testing fullstack applications in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript (React/Redux)
• Backend testing skills, including advanced SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for validating data integrity and performance
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and AWS cloud environments
