Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments
• Educates patients regarding medications, risks, benefits, and reasonable outcome expectations
• Participates in treatment team meetings and collaborates with support staff for patient communication and follow-up

Qualifications

• Masters of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program
• Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• 3+ years of experience working as a PMHNP; experience in IOP, PHP, and/or IP preferred
• Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health records and basic computer skills
