Staff Accountant III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant III, Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in the general ledger month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliation schedules and bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and support internal and external audit requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting work experience
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience preparing journal entries and month-end close processes
• Experience with accounting platforms such as NetSuite
